1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging 1st Accountants LTD for accounting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

2. Services Provided

1st Accountants LTD provides:

• Tax planning and compliance services
• Bookkeeping and payroll management
• VAT returns and submissions
• Self-assessment tax returns
• Company formation and registration
• Business consulting and advisory
• Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance
• HMRC correspondence and support

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information
• Maintain proper records and documentation
• Respond promptly to our requests for information
• Pay fees according to the agreed payment terms
• Inform us of any changes in circumstances
• Review and approve documents before submission

4. Fees and Payment

All fees are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are due within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur interest charges. We reserve the right to withhold services or documents until outstanding fees are paid.

5. Professional Standards

We are bound by the professional standards of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and comply with all relevant UK accounting regulations, including GDPR and HMRC requirements.

6. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information except where disclosure is required by law, regulation, or professional standards. We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. We maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by ACCA.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, all outstanding fees become immediately due. We will provide you with copies of your records and documents upon request.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials, advice, and work product created by us remain our intellectual property. You receive a license to use these materials for your business purposes only.

10. Complaints Procedure

If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us in writing. We will investigate and respond within 14 days. If you remain unsatisfied, you may escalate to ACCA's complaints procedure.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
